Bracken Motors: listings, photos and trade-in quotes without the retyping
A car goes from the lot to the website in minutes, and a seller gets a real number before they leave.
An independent dealership was building every listing by hand, uploading photos that came out squashed, and quoting trade-ins with a conversation and a number on a scrap of paper. We built one admin that turns a vehicle number into a finished listing and a lot visit into a quote the seller can open on their own phone.
The situation
Every listing was typed out from scratch: the specifications, the description, the options. Photos went up squashed because they were being resized somewhere along the way by something nobody controlled. And a trade-in quote was a number said out loud, with the reasoning in the owner's head, which is a hard thing for a seller to think about overnight.
What we built
Two pieces that share a spine. For listings: enter the vehicle identification number — typed, or read straight off the windshield with the phone camera — and the specifications fill themselves in. Photos are processed to a consistent size and shape once, in one place, so they cannot arrive squashed again. For quoting: start from a market value, apply the deductions the shop already uses as tap-once rules with the amounts recorded, dictate notes while walking round the car and get the deductions suggested back, then hand the seller a link to their own quote. The deduction rules are captured as they were at the moment of quoting, so a later change to the rules cannot silently rewrite a number somebody was given.
- Vehicle number typed or read off the windshield with the camera
- Specifications filled in automatically, description drafted
- Photos processed consistently, once, in one place
- Trade-in quotes built from the shop's own deduction rules
- Notes dictated while walking the car, deductions suggested back
- A shareable quote link the seller opens on their own phone
- Quote terms frozen at the moment they were given

What changed
Listings go up in minutes and look the same as each other. Sellers leave with a written quote they can read at the kitchen table, itemised, instead of a number they half remember.
